Happy Aloha Friday! We made it through another week and the weekend is almost here! If you are looking for some inspiration for recipes, crafts or something to perk you up, check out all the great posts linked up at Motivating Monday this week here on CEO of Me!
If you are new to CEO of Me® (Welcome!) in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. I used to participate in an Aloha Friday link up but the blog that hosted it is on temporary hiatus. I wanted to still do this in the New Year though as a way to just have some fun and get to know YOU all a little better. I have been to Hawaii twice and absolutely love it there! (The picture is one I took in July 2011 in Oahu.)
Basically how this works is I will ask a question and you guys can comment with an answer. This is a fun way to get to interact, meet new people and maybe make new friends. Occasionally I will randomly draw a winner from those who comment for an Amazon gift code too!
Since I’m starting my new weight loss program today, I thought it would be fun to talk about healthy eating habits, especially snacks. I don’t snack much during the day but at night I graze… This will be a hard habit for me to break!
So my question for this Aloha Friday is… What are your favorite healthy snacks? Please comment below and if you have a recipe on your blog (or someone else’s) please leave a link for it too!
My answer… Well I don’t have a favorite healthy snack yet… I can tolerate a banana with some peanut butter and yogurt with some crumbled up graham crackers in it or carrot sticks smothered in ranch dressing… So… I seem to turn every healthy snack into something unhealthy for me to like it… Hopefully that will change!
