Aloha Friday – Share your Healthy Living / Weight Loss tips

Aloha Friday everyone! Thank goodness Friday is finally here. It’s been kind of a long, frustrating week for me.  I do have some exciting news though, I was selected to be one of the Shaklee 180 Bloggers! For the next 6 months I will be on a journey to lose weight and get healthier using Shaklee’s 180 Weight Loss program.  More info and the official announcement will be coming next week. I’ll be sharing my journey, recipes, tips and more on the blog over the next 6 months too.

Aloha FridayIf you are new to CEO of Me® (Welcome!) in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. I used to participate in an Aloha Friday link up but the blog that hosted it is on temporary hiatus.  I wanted to still do this in the New Year though as a way to just have some fun and get to know YOU all a little better.   I have been to Hawaii twice and absolutely love it there! (The picture is one I took in July 2011 in Oahu.)

Basically how this works is I will ask a question and you guys can comment with an answer. This is a fun way to get to interact, meet new people and maybe make new friends.   Occasionally I will randomly draw a winner from those who comment for an Amazon gift code too!

So here is this Aloha Friday’s question: I would love to hear your tips on how to lose weight, stick to a healthy eating / weight loss plan or any exercise and helpful tips I could use to help me on this journey!

    I’ll admit that I’ve never really lost weight myself so I’m probably not the best for advice, but my boyfriend dropped about 12 lbs by swithcing from regular soda to a zero calorie one, though he was a heavy soda drinker so he was consuming a lot of calories that way.
