Caribbean Sweet and Spicy Salsa Recipe

This is Caribbean Sweet and Spicy Salsa Recipe is one of my most favorite salsa recipes! It is really good with fresh from the garden tomatoes, but canned tomatoes work too.  This salsa is great with chips, rice, on fajitas or with chicken!

Caribbean Sweet & Spicy Salsa Recipe

  • 2-3 regular size Tomatoes (or 1 large can of diced tomatoes)
  • 1 20 oz can of Crushed Pineapple
  • 1/2 a Sweet Onion
  • Juice of 1/2 a Lime
  • 2-3 tablespoons of Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend (I use Tupperware’s Chipotle Seasoning, but you could use other Chipotle Seasoning)
  •  Optional: Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Chop onions first if you want them really fine, chop tomatoes, add in (drained) crushed pineapple, lime juice and seasoning, mix until blended. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.  Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream and a little shredded cheese. Enjoy!

Makes about 5 cups of salsa.

(I use Tupperware’s Quick Chef to make my salsa and many other meals in minutes! You can see it pictured below. Contact me to get your Quick Chef at a special discount price – mention this recipe/Just Misty!)
